Koperattiva Produtturi taz-Zebbug Limited is inviting expressions of interest from experienced and qualified olive growers for the supply and delivery of Indigenous scions. The cooperative is looking for indigenous olive variety native to Malta, these varieties are renowned for their resilience and premium olive oil production. This EOI is an opportunity for individuals to partner with us in promoting and sustaining this important local variety.
The objective of this EOI is to identify and engage with olive growers in Malta who can supply high-quality indigenous scions for grafting of the root stock. The selected growers will be responsible for providing scions that meet specified standards and ensuring their safe delivery.
The successful applicant(s) will be required to:
– Supply Indigenous scions from healthy, mature olive trees.
– Ensure the scions are free from pests and diseases.
– Deliver the scions in accordance with agreed timelines and conditions to the Government Nursery located within the compound of St. Vincent de Paule Residence.
– Provide information on the source and quality of the scions.
– Comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Interested olive growers must meet the following criteria:
– Proven experience in managing olive groves.
– Ability to provide scions that meet industry standards for health and quality.
– Capacity to deliver within the required time frame. Each selected olive grower shall be able to supply and deliver at least 100 scions.
– Selected trees should be well kept in terms of fertilisation and irrigation.

NOTE: THE ESTIMATED BUDGET FOR THIS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IS €300 PER 100 SCIONS DELIVERED.

– Delivery capacity and timelines.
– Competitive pricing.
